ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Canadian Working Holiday Program, also known as “CWHP”, is a program designed for applicants who want to come to Canada to work and travel.
International Experience Canada ( IEC ) offers this program and our Agency works with Recognized organization – Go International. Participants on this program get an opportunity to experience life in Canada for maximum of one year, while working in any field without any limitations. Participants can work as many hours as they like, and they can change jobs during the program, and also their locations. Participants don’t have to arrange their job before arriving to Canada.

Number of visas for this program is limited and it’s “first come, first serve”, so it’s very important to start the whole process on time. Applications for the next season open in November and they close in third week of October ( or when all places are taken ).

GO International provides valuable assistance to participants with settling in, finding a job and accommodation and getting to know Canada. Participants are not left alone when they arrive to Canada, but they have a full time support of Work and Travel Group Agency and also Go International. Participant can get an access to “hot job list” where they can find some available jobs and also attend seminars and different types of webinars to prepare for their job interviews.

CONDITION FOR PARTICIPATION

International Experience Canada (IEC) offers the opportunity to citizen aged between 18 and 35, of the following countries to apply for the program:

Greece
Croatia
Spain

In order for someone to apply to the program, they need to have a passport of one of the listed countries. Passport needs to be valid for the whole duration of the program.
How many times can someone participate on this program depends on the country:

Greece – citizens of this country can participate on this program only one and the maximum duration of the program is one year
Croatia – citizens of this country can participate on this program two times, but there must be a 3 months break between the completing the first program and submitting the second one. The maximum duration of one program is one year
Spain – citizens of this country can participate on this program only one and the maximum duration of the program is one year

ABOUT GO INTERNATIONAL

GO International is a designated Recognized Organization of the Government of Canada’s International Experience Canada program.
GO International was founded in 1994 and is a division of Tamwood International. GO International is a Canadian company that operates its own working holiday and volunteer programs in Canada and works with partner organizations around the world to deliver highly recognized work and travel, teach abroad and volunteer abroad programs.

GO International staff have all traveled far and wide. They know the benefits of programs like this one and they will all work hard on helping participants with writing their CVs and preparing participants for job interviews.
