BE AN INSTRUCTOR IN A TRADITIONAL AMERICAN SUMMER CAMP!

What is Summer Camp?

Imagine that on the same day you ride horses, you sail on a lake surrounded by woods, play basketball, volleyball or tennis, and tell stories to children around a campfire. Every year, hundreds of thousands of children aged 5-17 participate in summer camps throughout the United States. Specific activities can vary from camp to camp, but the atmosphere of fun and friendship remains the same.

Feel the American tradition

As a part of the CIEE Camp Exchange USA program, for up to 10 week you will discover what being a leader and a teacher really means. By sharing your knowledge you will discover your own strengths and interests by helping others develop new talents. Through the true values and life in nature, you will learn with them about life in America.

Connections for a lifetime

Camps like to hire international staff to bring in new culture, diversity and skills, which gives you the chance to work with incredible people from around the world. You will participate in the cultural exchange experience that will enable you to:

Experience and understand American culture
Make a change in the lives of children in the summer camp
Develop basic leadership and teaching abilities and independence
Make lifelong friendships with your peers, mentors and camp youths
Become the ambassador of your country
Share a part of yourself and your culture through meaningful interaction with kids from the camp and colleagues at work
Become a part of one of the 300 campsites with which the CIEE organizer cooperates
Earn money that you can later use for travel to the United States within 30 days after completing the program.

More time for adventure

Travel across America

At the end of the season, there is still some time for adventure. Plan your visit to the friends you will meet in the US. Within 30 days of completing the program, you will have the opportunity to travel around the United States, visit its attractions, cities, meet different people, try traditional American cuisine and more. Climb to the top of the Statue of Liberty, cross the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, explore the Yellowstone National Park, the possibilities are enormous.
