GLOUCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS

Gloucester, Massachusetts was established in 1623 as one of the first settlements on the ground of the USA.

It is situated on the semi peninsula Ann (Cape Ann) and during its existence and development, it became an important marine center. It got a status of a town in 1873. It is familiar for its oldest sea marina in the USA and as a center of the biggest art colony in North America. Visitors who like ocean, fishing, visiting lighthouses, bathing and watching the whales will surely enjoy in the tourist offer of this town and its surrounding.

Gloucester is an hour of drive far from Boston. In the town itself and surrounding, there are over 100 restaurants, numerous shops, art galleries. During the summer months, many festivals and parades are organized.
